Nelson Mandela once said: "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."

We, the members of CAIF, agree with Mandela. We strive to be "one drop in the ocean" as Mother Theresa preached, to be part of something bigger than just us alone. We stand to celebrate all cultures and people. We are CAIF: Capital Area Interfaith Friends. We discuss our beliefs and devote our time to service projects that make a difference.

"It always seems impossible until it is done."

“Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You

don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't

have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You

only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by

love.”

― Martin Luther King Jr.
